Renowned lifestyle bloggers Bare-Faced Chic and The Grey Fox shared the stage at an exclusive Walnut Tree event looking at the opportunities for brands wanting to connect with the UK’s fast-growing Over-50 population.
Around 23 million UK consumers are aged 50-plus, controlling 78% of all disposable income and forecast to account for more than half of all future consumer spending growth.
However, 96% of Over-50’s say that brand advertising fails to understand them and doesn’t reflect their lifestyles.
The Walnut Tree blogger event looked at the changing attitudes, needs and behaviours of mature audiences as they rapidly re-define aging and rewrite preconceptions about habits and opportunities.
